Setting Up Outlook Express to Use SMTP AUTH
First, click Tools, then Accounts:
Select your account and click the Properties
button:
Make sure the "My server requires authentication" checkbox.
is enabled.
If you click the settings button, you will see the following:
This should not be changed - the server uses the same settings as
your incoming mailserver.
